Just home from a quick four-day vacation to Phoenix to meet up with Gary and Sharon and visit Courtney and her family and also Gary's brother and his family. It was a whirlwind trip, to say the least! I also tried to change my ticket in order to attend my uncle's memorial service on Monday, but that didn't work out with ticket prices, change fees and standby schedules. Anyway...it was great to be away a few days and even better to see my family and friends. We just don't do it often enough.

Figure out how to make Russian cheese and onion rolls! Just like the ones from Piroshky Piroshky in Seattle. These are TDF! Everyone who tastes them falls head over heals. Not that the 2 hour drive each way isn't worth it (especially with good company)...but to make those in my own little kitchen would be the best thing ever.

This year I want to...

Spend time with my family and friends,

Travel,

Put away some money,

Get to the beach as much as possible,

Be more patient with Sheriff,

Use my cookbooks,

Dust!,

Publish Troy's short stories and drawings,

Increase my design business,

Consider buying a house (or prepare to do that next year),

Do what makes me happy :o)
